Crack in the Lake is a series that considers the relationship between the mind and the physical body as both separate and coexisting experiences. Feelings of disassociation, isolation, and anxiety are examined through the gaze of the protagonist. The paintings explore the fluid state between memory, reverie, and reality, and seek light and stillness in reflection.
